The Dancer entered the Clan Hall to a flurry of activity. She accepted the drink of water offered her as she wiped her feet, and allowed the hall servant to take her bow but retained her swords. She never relinquished her swords. Catching her breath and wiping her brow with the cool towel handed her, she took a moment to observe the activities taking place.
Throughout the main hall a handful of servants dusted, polished, and cleaned. As she moved down the corridor to Olorae's study, she smiled and nodded at familiar faces as they offered greetings. When she and Olorae had returned from their retreat, only Spudnik and Senka (along with a newly recruited Kamael) had been waiting. But since then they had been trickling in by ones and twos. Faces once thought lost began to appear with renewed vigor. The Hall was now fairly bustling and she hoped the trend would continue.
Striding past the posted guard and into her wife's office, Sadori placed her hands on the edge of the broad desk and jumped up to sit on the surface, fairly beaming at the taller, more stately woman.
"It is starting to feel like home again!"
((Welcome back, returning Echoes!))

The Celebrant smiled, setting the parchments aside and leaning back in her chair. "Slowly but surely, it is," she said, brushing a stray lock of hair back from her face. She glanced around at the multiple invoices and work orders that Firhi had sent over for her approvals. Thankfully, the Lily could afford to absorb the costs, but not for long. There would be a strong need to replenish the coffers before long.
Still, it was a stress she would not wear outwardly, and she smiled broadly for her wife. "We were right. The light is faltering, and we are strong. Shilen's will is being done, and we are all but victorious."
