Hello my lovelies!
For some reason, completely out of the blue while killing time on a random browser game, I felt the overpowering urge to poke my head in here.
I cannot believe it's been over seven years since I've first put my feet up on the table in the Echoes' Clan Hall... and terrorised and traumatised several of the Clan's members. Aaaah. Good times! I miss'em.
Ahem. So I've wanted to just kinda step in here and share this small tidbit with you, long story short, a few people (Olo included) already probably knew this but it might come as a surprise to some of you who still might remember us. For the past year (gosh it's been a year already?) I have been living with Amathal. Like, real-life living. As roommates. Yes, THE Amathal, my in-game / in-character partner in crime-- er, partner in portable trauma and making people around us miserable and terrified at the same time. It's been roughly seven years ago that we've met here, thanks to the fact that I at the time made the decision to join the Echoes. At first it was going to be a temporary thing, just a favor to Olo, I was just going to make a character, put it through the clan's academy to give it points, and then quit Lineage 2, as I'd been getting tired of it with no direction and purpose. I ended up staying for quite a while. It's had its ups and downs just as it goes in life, but ultimately the fact I now have a safe and supportive living environment in the form of Amathal and her unending dorky ways lies with joining Echoes. Fun fact - if you don't remember it, when we first met we absolutely hated each other. We despised everything the other one said or did and fought constantly - to the point of poisoning the air for the rest of the clan and even the alliance sometimes. Neither of us even remembers anymore what the original reason for the continual spats and shouting was, but I'm glad we both took a deep breath and made the mature decision to put it aside when I reached out to her to make up. Had it gone differently - I now wouldn't have traveled to a different country and moved in with her, obviously, hehe.
I have the Echoes to thank for that, in a way ^_^
I've been thinking of giving L2 another go (for the millionth time). Anyone still playing ^^ ?

Hard to believe it was so long ago...
We're still around, though life and inactivity have taken their toll on the clan. Dori and I log in regularly (almost daily). We see Senka and Spudnik regularly, and even Allana made a return recently!
Our numbers are small, but we are the only role-playing clan in the game and I'm proud of the fact that we've lasted that long.
You would be welcome here.

@spud: That is an impressive gif collection, I thank you for your enthusiasm, not sure what brought it on, haha.
@senka, yeah I'm thinking about it, been kinda bored lately and I'm pretty sure L2 will run on this old laptop.
@olo, sorry to say but I have not had a hiripop in a longer while haha, though Ama keeps the cupboard stocked with them!
@dori, but, but, but but! I would like to keep my kidneys, I do not want a trip to candy mountain...

After fighting with gameguard and laptop reluctance - I'm in.
Olo should check her bag or something, might find a peculiar letter :0 ... (But please don't respond to it ingame or anything, I'd like to drag that bit of rp out onto the forums, since noone actually knows where Aenya's been etc.. Pardon the very rusty writing though, I haven't properly written anything in years.)
That said - Damiel has also decided to stick his head in. Senka (and anyone else interested), please message him ingame alright? His character's name (at least the one he's leveling now) is Adanarak.

Daaamn nice to see people returning, in fact it's so nice I went ahead and downloaded Lineage II again. I figured I'd poke my head in from time to time considering I've felt as if my name was mentioned several times. I managed to get my 2 main accounts set up (Kuros and Lithillia) but it seems I can't get Elluviel's account, it's just......missing. I even tried to reset password and it won't accept my bday to send it to my email, weird. I just hope I didn't have anything too important on that one. Either way good to see you guys are still active, I'm not sure if my current clan in L2 is dead or not, but I'll pull Kuros and Lith to bring them back to EoD. |

Yeah yeah, I missed you guys too <winks> I did pull my toons out of the old clan I was in so all I have to do is catch one of you online to get them pulled into EoD to boost the ranks again. My gf said she would check the game out, however we would be casual at best as we have commitment to Final Fantasy XIV. Nonetheless, it will be good to see my old crew again. I still consider you guys being responsible for some of my best RP experiences. That and I need to finish Shattered Shields. The player of Lithillia doesn't seem like she's going to come back so I'll take over the character and mop things up. Besides she is on my account and I did level her after she left so she's practically mine. Just let me know when it would be a good time to catch you guys, though be warned I'm a night owl because of work so I will be on mostly on evenings. |
