Following the discussion on clan chat, here's the list from the official forums where GM Sparse has updated the thread with links to all classes, so you know what you keep and what you lose: boards.lineage2.com/showpost.php?p=3100072&postcount=1Edit: According to the Awakening FAQ on the forums as well, those skills you keep will eventually go away as you learn new awakened skills. So I think the end result is that by the time you're 99, you have nothing of your old class. Good thing is that it seems to take forever and beyond to get there, so I guess we shouldn't worry that much lol

Pft, hurry up and get 85 so you can tell us all about how it works Val!
Edit: Now that I actually look at the faq this does seem to indicate that your existing skills are wiped and you get a default set of 1-85 skills for your class.
This makes sense to me now because that's the only way to effectively allow the old players to choose any class to awaken too.

I'd like to know if I get to keep my Maestro skills even if I used the Stone of Destiny thingy to awaken as, say, a rogue or mage instead of warrior. I mean, a new skillset would be great, but not at the expense of losing my dwarven craft, yanno?

No if you awaken into a different class you will get the human equivalent skills for the class you awaken into. For example if you awaken into a Rogue you'll get the Treasure Hunter skills.

Hey, I'm working on it. 2 levels and 80% to go lol and not like you're lagging behind either, as I noticed you're already 79!! But yeah I don't know. IT's a shady area, Jhae. If what you read on the patch notes is true, then it seems the dorfs keep their craft. But I find all this info rather shady to begin with. I would, for example, love to have a place where I could preview what skills I get for awakening, in my case as a Yul Archer, but I can't seem to find it. I loved the old site where you could preview all your skills and there was a LOT more information about stuff.

People were used to that, and it would have been a LOT less tedious on everyone to have our answers before it went live. BTW, Val, found this: CLICK ME! Hope it helps. No if you awaken into a different class you will get the human equivalent skills for the class you awaken into. For example if you awaken into a Rogue you'll get the Treasure Hunter skills. Right, I understand that the class skills become the equivalents for the humans, but far as I can find, dwarven craft is supposed to be a racial that both warsmiths and bounty hunters get now when they awaken. What I have yet to see is where someone (not a human) documented that they used their stone of destiny and still got their racial skills properly even if their class skills defaulted to a human's.

Yay!
Thanks Jhae, that's exactly what I was looking for! And I know what you mean. Without having some sort of confirmation, you can't really feel safe to change without the fear of losing your crafty skills.

So what classes is everyone thinking about taking when awakening? All of them look pretty interesting, I'll end up picking one of theses: Healer Knight Rogue Warrior but which one I'll be pulling my hair out over

Dalliath will awaken in his class. I've already checked the Yul Archer's skills thanks to Jhae's link and I can't wait!
I'm thinking of bringing a warcryer up in levels too, and if I had to advise you, Iss Enchanter buffs = Teh win.
Now... Iss Enchanter buffs + Aeore Healer buffs = teh double win!
I had an Iss enchanter buff my baby warcyrer the other day and the buffs are quite insane lol

I'm likely going to awaken as an Eeyore Healer, but I may be contemplating Iss Enchanter. Not entirely sure at this point. I know I'll dual class my Phantom Summoner up when I finally get it subclassed (after the BD subclass)

I'll be awakening as Iss Enchanter. Beyond that, I haven't really thought of anything. Too much going on IRL (read: TODDLER) to keep up with the game stuff. But I'm trying!!

I'll probably go Tyr Warrior if I don't decide to awaken my Hell Knight.

I was just invited into in a party with an Echanter and a Summoner and omg that was amazing! It was in WoA and basically the Summoner rounded up all the mobs and nuked them with her summons and they all died in seconds. 4 Pulls and I had all my quest items lol I think now I'm gonna go Enchanter can always use the Enchanter to help another character if need be (Ps I will probably change my mind again because I'm like that >_<)

So I can confirm this now, as Dalliath's now a Yul Archer.
Basically you DO keep a set of your previous skills. However... you will lose them all, or most of them with the very FIRST skills that you learn as your awakened class. I suppose they give the set for those people that don't have enough SP to actually learn the first Awakened skills that you need to learn. If you do have the SP? Then you will lose all your old skills with the first batch of awakened skills that you get. So the set I was actually given from my old class? I lost them ALL with the first lvl 85 skills I've learned.
I've PMed Sace on the forums to ask about the dwarven craft thing. Once I get a reply (if I do), I'll post it here.

I'm curious about the mastery skills, does anyone know if you can learn all of them listed or say for example like the superior dual masterys only being for past bladedancers.
Same applies with Warriors, does that mean a Warlord can then give up his pole and take a two handed sword?

Well, the thing you have to remember is that you're no longer a blade dancer or warlord once you awaken. From that point on, you're the new class, and that class has X and Y and Z masteries. It stands to reason that you'd gain access to all of them and be able to use any weapon for your new class from there on out with perfect ability. So, yes, a warlord can give up his pole and take up a two hander. At least, in theory.

Well I can speak from my Yul Archer's point of view, as I haven't had any experiences with other classes yet.
Before Awakening, SR, PR and HE's could use only bows. Arbalesters could use only crossbows. After awakening, if I want to use a crossbow on my Yul Archer, who was a Phantom Ranger before awakening, I could.
So I suppose the same would happen for other classes.
