((On a different note...))
The Kamael slumbered into a deep sleep after a long day of hunting, wanting and craving rest, her wing curled around her as she drifted into a dream.
Dreamscape...
The Soulhound's eyes took in the scene before her. She saw herself standing there looking desperate asking Lady Olorae to seal her son's Kamael side. Athruzikor standing there with a full size Kamaelian wing and dark energy writhing around the unnatural child. It was clear to the scene-watching Kamael that her son was in pain at this point.
"I'd rather kill you and it instead."
In her bed, the Kamael turned over and frowned, a tear escaping from her unmasked eye.
Another, but similar scene, with Lady Zaphne doing the asking as Lafyel stood by. Athruzikor standing beside Zaphne showing no hint of fear or emotion in his youth Kamaelian eyes as the Light Elf negotiated with Olorae for the sealing.
"That....THING is an abomination to the dark elf race! It should die!"
The watching Kamael saw the boy's wing unfurl in reaction while his face remained an iron mask. She saw herself grimace a bit at the words the dark elf used and shift a bit in place even as Zaphne attempted to get a bargain done.
"Don't listen to her Olorae, the boy must die!" The watcher's eyes snapped over to reveal Persephones behind Olorae. "Step aside Zaphne."
The light elf refused on principle and had to be forcibly moved away with the boy being restrained from going after the Light Elf's restrainers. Athruzikor glared up at the evilly smirking Celebrant and remained glaring hard at the Shilen Saint as the Blade dancer carried through with the orders given.
The watcher cried as she saw the blood pour on the ground.
"zzNooozzzz." The sleeping kamael again shifted in her rest.
This time the watching Kamael was presented with herself standing over a stone and she felt a chill push through her as she looked on. The dream self stood quietly looking at the tombstone of her son who had only lived but a few months. A voice approaching the scene made both watcher and dream-self look up, one gaze curious, the other a grieving caution that turned to a scowl before returning to study the short monolithic tomb. "Oh, its you." Even the watching soul hound winced at the cold tone.
"I didn't know the sealing would kill him." This was an Olorae unlike the others previous. The dark elf seemed sincere in what she was saying, her own tone being somber to match the surrounding graveyard. The Celebrant winced at the cold eye the soulhound cast upon her. "I suppose I deserve your hate." The Shilen Saint allowed, then cast an almost pleading tone toward the Kamael's back. "I really didn't intend-"
"Save it." Two cold words drifted lazily back to the robe clad dark elf, but those two words struck with the finality of a slap. "I somehow knew you never trusted me Lady Olorae, therefore I never completely trusted you." The Kamael turned around and focused her gaze upon the shorter dark skinned elf and resumed quietly, "You helped to kill everything in my heart. Maybe I had requested the sealing, but you killed him." The Kamael shouldered past the dark elf who was lost for words and teleported out.
Another scene, very different as the sleeping soulhound watched in her mind's eye the scene of a future self in the fabled Final Form in a place she recognized well. The weekly gathering, otherwise known as the wishing well, a crowd was there along with her dream self who had just gotten up to speak.
"Thank you Lady Zaphne. There is a matter of grave concern I must address, the death of my child Athruzikor. More specifically the person whokilled him with her sealing incantion." A shocked and horrified crowd beheld the final form transformation as the dream self resumed her statement while looking squarely at the dream-Olorae. "Lady Olorae, I charge you with intentionally botching the seal spell on my son and killing him!" Shocked gasps were heard all around as the accused stood up along with her betrothed to defend herself.
"But-but I did no such thing-urk!" The dark elf shuddered as a lighhtning attack struck her.
The watcher watched her dream self in horror, "Why?"
The final form stopped and turned to face the watcher, "She killed an infant, her crime is unforgivable!" The cold eyes were what scared the sleeping Kamael the most, no warmth or seeming life to them at all.
End Dreamscape
Lafyel sat up in the bed breathing hard, eyes wide in shock at the memory her subconscious had left her with. All thoughts of sleep vanquished from her mind as she kept replaying the dream in her head.
((This is basically the start of a series of dreams related to Athruzikor and her other situations, but will mostly revolve around Athruzikor and the conflicting magical reserves. Again, this is a dreamscape played out night by night with pretty each night of sleep being a post. Just not necessarily every single night in a consecutive manner.
Also, please remember that this is Lafy's subconsciousness here, its certainly not how those portrayed would act.))
