the story so far:
an unknown theif has robbed the Orcs of a Clay Urn that was part of a historical happening during the beginning of the era of peace after the elven-orcish war. the urn was a present to the orcs, given by the humans as a token of peace.
Gronnoor the Revenant Shaman was sent to reclaim the urn - and he followed the trail of the theif into Dion and finally Heretics Catacomb. mustering some courage, Gronnoor called his friends Kyndelynn, Zafir, PrinceoftheNorth (whose dwarven name was not pronounceable without first drinking 40 pints of dwarven ale), and Rakkath. these all wnet into the Catacomb, searching for the urn.
what was found was merely a fragment and some Dimension residues. Gronnoor quickly came to the conclusion that a scuffle came about when the theif fled into the Catacomb, and the Urn chipped. the theif fled into the dimensional rift and left some residue where he had teleported.
(( spur of the moment RP using the stuff i already had, the story will continue when Echoes lowbies do the rift. that being said, lets organise a time and such to do it. ))

It was rather obvious that the one-time intact clay vessel had some importance to at least one Orc sect--having been a symbol of a peace brokered between humans and orcs in the past.
It is hard to imagine the temerity and nerve of the thief who would undertake such a commission and it is not altogether clear as of yet exactly what the theft was to accomplish.
At present the discovery of only a fragment of the nearly priceless clay object is certainly ominous. Other than the scattered dimensional fragments, no clues were found suggesting who the thief might be, his or her motives, the agents behind the theft, or the current whereabouts of the thief.
Serious battle occurred with the monsters within the first room of Heretics before even the fragment was discovered although the group supporting Gronnoor acquitted itself very well.
It seems that only the planned trip into the Dimensional Rift has any opportunity to shed more light.....

Gronnoor Kennard and Theren scheduled a raid on the Necropolis of Worship on alligator island as Gronnoor had deduced that there were more clues to be found scattered in the many necropolises and catacombs around. Theren was hired by Gronnoor privately to both observe his hunting technique and to assist in the combing of the necropolis. Kennard arrives later having unforeseen difficulties with his uncle.
Together they cleaned the necropolis of many creatures. only more dimensional fragments were obtained but Gronnoor felt the presence of ominous forces. Gronnoor's fear that the urn had been stolen by none other than Anakazel himself had come to fruition. the sheer amount of dark portal magic in the necropolis had shown Gronnoor just exactly what he needed to know; that the rift confrontation would be magic still beyond his grasp. Gronnoor felt this and became uneasy.
The group had disbanded for the time. Gronnoor knew it was time to empower himself to the highest form before the stop in the rift.
