I just realized I seem to have jumped a month.
I was supposed to be July!
As such, Senka gets to wear the coveted summer crown. That is my next project.
Sorry!

Both of us Spud... that makes two of us.
And yet, you gotta remember that Olo is really rather busy right now in reality, therefore doesnt have quite the time to devote to such pursuits as this. I'm sure maybe you could ask Rinth or someone with more time on their plate to perhaps touch up a 2011 calander.
I know I cant do such with school and all.

@ Spud : Please do remember that in addition to maintaining and updating (and paying for) L2RPA. org, running the clan, and co-managing the alliance; Olo also has a young child, a Dori with health issues, a full time job, and financial issues that occasionally prevent him from being able to keep his account active for a a few weeks at a time.
@ Lafy : Rinth is not in Echoes, she is in Deathnote and in no way responsible for Echoes issues.
To both: This was a project that has been discussed for years and was to be done for fun, not at all a required project. As neither of you are any longer Echoes, your condescending input on this matter is not appreciated. However, if any of the current clan/ally with to put something like this together for the future, we will be happy to hear input and accept assistance in doing so.

not dissing any of the work done at all. i am disappointed that nobody helped out, or asked to take up the mantle. the facts have been laid out about everyone's issues. yes lots are busy. i at one point had 2 jobs going and was playing L2 everyday.
that doesnt exclude me from being disappointed in myself for not being a bigger help where applicable.
i know i could have done more, but i didnt.
let this serve as a lesson rather than a snide remark about past events.
i didnt try and join dn to mock eod but thats the way it was taken.
it seems this section of comments expressing my deepest disappointments in everyone who could have done more and didnt, is also being taken as hinging on one person.
i f**k**g knew it would come to this. i should never have posted to begin with.
did nobody in the last year and a half even bother to ask if they could help? was the offer ever put out to someone?
i'm not demanding that someone finish the project this second - far from it. i am perplexed as to the reasons to try and go at such an undertaking and not communicate the stoppage.
why does one person need to carry the burdens of all the things you posted above? clearly this is too much. clearly olo has transferred clan leadership when necessary, i understand that.
thats kinda why i'm disappointed that all the fragments of the puzzle could not be gathered up. theres a ton of left-unfinished stories and events that have gone unfinished since the events of a time long ago. for example the clan RP days we used to have. the RP war between the templars and us. none of that is finished. none of that even concludes with a paraghraph of "and they all live happily ever after"
and now its february 2011. long since some of the people involved in those events are gone, and not coming back.
something has got to be done about all the loose ends.
i'd be satisfied even with "f**k all is going to get done about it" cause that would at least be closure.
but never mind me i'm not an echo anymore. just the ghost of christmas past. you dont need to listen to me; i probably need a shrink, a drink, and a good screw. none of you exist to fill that role. no sarcasm.

I apologize seeming to take the comment as hinging one person.. at the time, I certainly perhaps had a thought or two about helping out, but that was before this year obviously.... Even before last fall.
As for Rinth, yes, I certainly realize that Sadori.. btw Lafy doesnt exist anymore, but that is a completely different issue and place.
I agree partially with Spud, and I also apologize to you Spud for insinuating that. But I was refering more to back when this calendar project was going, just kinda used example of where situations were in the present. My wording was not the best I could've used.
Again, I agree with Spud on the fact there was nil announcement about curtailing this project and certainly no announcement asking if someone wished to continue or take it over. Instead, it was left to roll over and die a silent death like most things in some forums I know of [using some of my own threads on other forums basis for this statement]. Of course, most threads here done for fun and amusement purposes, its just that there should a closing statement if said issue/thread is no longer fun or interesting.
Neither me or Spud are really Echoes anymore, but I still care about this forum and the people who visit it. Hope to see you at the well in some form, take care and peace.

Btw spud, read I kuros: memoirs of a hell knight story arch, it sort of gives the reader an idea what happened to the templars. As the only templar (according to my knowledge) I figured it'd be fitting to tie off that lose end.

There have been several attempts to continue this project and inquiries and volunteers were to be had... in clan chat. Everyone that offered to help out, simply disappeared without helping at all except to perhaps submit their own unfinished screenshot. I'm not naming names because that is pointless and they know who they are.
@spud: Perhaps if you had said "I'm disappointed we all didn't pull together to make this happen", I would not have taken the defensive. "i am disappoint." seems point the finger at the source. Pardon my misunderstanding and please try to be a bit clearer in the future.
@Zethro: I would assume that the title of this resurrected topic "Echoes of 2009 - Calendar" would be some indicator that this project is no longer valid. It is, after all as Spud pointed out, February 2011. Forgive us for not moving it to the skeleton closet.
Many projects or topics are left open in order to share previous knowledge or work (the finished calendar pages, for example) and to serve as an encouragement for others to spearhead another such project- such as perhaps this year.
Just as plot lines are often left opening and dangling when their players disappear or lack of interest is shown, sometimes threads just die.
Frankly I'm tired of hearing the complaints of folks dropping the balls or how much better Echoes was way back when. I was there, I agree it was a golden age. However, that does not mean there is nothing more this clan or alliance has to offer. We are very supportive of our members who wish to offer something (even if they can only offer a few hours of play time a week). Those who are active or semi-active will find themselves nearly always invited to a group so long as someone in ally is on and they speak up. Those who cause drama or are content to complain as they ride their mates coattails are quickly shown the door.
Get over yourselves, get over the "harbinger of doom" crap. We Echoes are doing fine, thank you very much for asking. We are having a great time with our new alliance mates and exploring the new areas the recent expansion has to offer.

And we're done. Padlock +14 effect can be felt.
Thank you for your concern and input, it has been noted.
